Captain Hinchman is a highly respected captain in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) with over 20 years of experience. Throughout her career, she has held various positions within the department, including court services, custody, patrol, and personnel command. She has also worked in departments such as Central Supply & Logistics, Central Property and Evidence, Audits and Accountability, the Advocacy Unit, Internal Affairs Bureau, and the Risk Management Bureau.
Captain Hinchman is dedicated to upholding justice and is passionate about training, innovation, and efficiency. She constantly seeks ways to improve and modernize the department by introducing cutting-edge applications and processes that promote organizational efficiency and consistency.
One of Captain Hinchman’s main focuses is on defining workflows and processes to enhance technological advancements. She is committed to empowering LASD personnel with the tools and resources they need to meet the demands of modern-day policing.
